The president of a company that experienced rapid growth through recent acquisitions, wanted to ensure that the leadership infrastructure was prepared to meet evolving challenges and opportunities. Additionally he wanted to expand his board of directors to ensure an effective succession plan for the company.

Mission:

To expand the capacity and capabilities of its leadership team, put a succession plan in place and expand its Board of Directors to include independent members.

 Process of Marketing Offering:

Assessment -

SL&A conducted interviews with each member of the management team.

Planning -

SL&A developed a Board Seat criteria/job description/specification. SL&A created a Compensation Survey to properly and competitively position the packaging of the open Board seats.  Prospective candidates were identified and assessed.  SL&A handled the offer negotiation and placement.

SL&A provided processes and best-practices for Board governance and running of Board meetings.

Implementing and Aligning -

Establishment of CEO priorities, requirements and expectations.  Assisted in the interviewing and hiring of new president.

Developing Leadership -

Coaching and mentoring of the leadership team at the direction of the Chairman and CEO.  24X7 availability to discuss critical issues.
