A $75 Million revenue manufacturing company needed to have all departments in the organization aligned on the strategy in order to grow the business and meet customer expectations.

Process of Market Offering:

Assessment -

SL&A facilitated one-on-one interviews with the senior leadership team regarding the organization’s current level of understanding regarding the existing business strategy and to identify potential roadblocks.  In addition, we gathered research data from internal and external sources to gain a better understanding of the current operating environment.  We reviewed existing data to determine their customer satisfactions levels.

Planning -

The data from the interviews and research identified numerous organizational alignment opportunities, customer quality issues and leadership development needs. SL&A facilitated meetings with the senior leadership team to develop and achieve alignment on the key strategic drivers, values definition and definition of extraordinary service.

Implementing and Aligning -

SL&A worked with the senior leadership team to  build a dashboard to map their department’s work to the key strategic  drivers and provided training to allow the leaders to conduct alignment sessions within their respective organizations.  A communication model was developed to ensure that the senior leaders communicated  to their teams with common language and common practice.

SL&A worked with the leadership team to focus on a strategic initiative pertaining to quality which included the creation of cross functional teams to review data on returned products, warrantee work and root cause analysis.  Created an organization chart with specific roles and responsibilities to eliminate any redundant work and established clear lines of accountability.

Develop Leadership -

Worked with the senior leaders to align on the mission, vision   and values for the organization.  Conducted a 360 Degree Review Assessment with the senior team with the purpose of understanding individual leadership behaviors and skills, strengths, and opportunities for improvement .
