Process of Market Offering:
Assessment -
Phase One: SL&A conducted an assessment of the Board in order to gain insight into the Boards’ operating environment; what is working and not working; and what improvements are needed. The data from these interviews was reviewed with the Board.
Phase Two: We collected data regarding the impact of the economy on the member’s organizations, including staffing issues, operational budgets, inventory and programs to increase traffic and play.
Phase Three: We collected data regarding financial operations and financial metrics in order to help members manage their businesses more effectively.
Planning -
Based on the assessment SL&A worked with the Board on creating an operating structure to improve the organizations effectiveness; craft a clear concise mission statement and clarify the organizations purpose.
Implementing and Aligning -
SL&A worked with the Board and Nominating Committee to put into place disciplined processes for selection of new board members; developed operational guidelines for the identification and prioritization of issues impacting the board; and developed a communication program for use by the board to share with their members.
Develop leadership -
Developed educational programs based on Stuart R. Levine’s international best selling books, The Six Fundamentals of Success and Cut to the Chase. These programs were focused on; assisting members to enhance their leadership capacity; increasing members’ level of professionalism; providing exceptional member service; improving communication with members’, staff and Board; and managing time more effectively.
SL&A implemented a program to improve the financial literacy of the members’ to help them manage their business more effectively.
